Knock Knock

Do you wish that restaurants and shops in Lagos were more attentive to international standards, especially with service, quality of food and ambiance? Just because we live in Lagos it doesn't mean we don't deserve the same standards that people enjoy around the world, we certainly pay for it. Knock Knock cards will be used to let business know that they've 'JUST BEEN REVIEWED.' Amishi Handbags

Tolulope .O.: I was provileged to be at the Amishi launching in Terra Kulture, Lagos and i must say the purses are exquisite creations! There is indeed a bag for every woman!!!

Ankara Rebel

Reviewer1: I bought two really nice Fabrics from Ankara Rebel while visiting family in Dallas Texas. I believe during their AR-Brunch Event at an African restaurant & Lounge. When I heard that they had a spot in Lagos too, I wanted to check it out as well. I was very impressed with the variety of items they had. Needless to say, I ended up leaving with 3 tailored Jackets, 1 patchwork pants, 2 clutch bags and some bangles. The sales rep there (can't remember her name) gave me such good service I can certainly say that it was money well spent. Thank YOU!! Kemi

Aralia By Nature

Reviewer1: Amazing store. Had all I needed for my green cravings. Definitely worth shopping there. I found all types of tropical fishes and unusual plants. Thumbs up.

Disapointed: Well, they do have a few birds and some interesting plants, BUT their tiny shop doesn't look at all like their website. They did not carry what I needed, although it was not extravagant. I was looking forward to an oasis of greenery, but only found an average little plant shop. Disapointing at best.

lost: I simply could not find this spot? Does it still exist? 9 Oct 2012

Reviewer 3: 10/10/2012 - Popped in today and bought 2 Orchid plants, some bamboo stems and a bunch of fresh lillies. While the shop is small (and doesn't look like the website image), I found the staff to be friendly and accomodating. Haven't seen another / similar shop - so will def go back.

Tannaz: Yes it does, it's inside the Ikoyi Mall, near the Federal Secretariat in Ikoyi.

Samuel sué Etoh: Creativity, beauty and inspiration that was wat i saw when i got to the shop 4 d first time, i loved everytin i saw. though the place is small but i was inspired. as a florist and a designer i wil lik to b in dat environment 4 more inspiration.

Asta Hair & Make Up

Glampuss: Asta is absolutely brilliant! She was very clever with the colours and not at all overbearing with the makeup pallette she used like most "owambe" makeup artistes about in Nigeria! I wear weaves and have never had my hair styled so professionally and with so much gentle staying power. My husband said I looked like the "goddess' version of myself! I can not Recommend Asta enough!! This Lady is going places, so try and book her before the rest of the planet catches on! she's already syling for some major fashion labels but humbly still keeps her prices modest! ASTA I LOVEEEEEE WHAT YOU DO!

Ms Pearl of Wisdom : Once upon a time the thought of having a colour and cut in Lagos would give me IBS, however now thanks to Asta’s home service it’s back to relaxing with coffee and total confidence in the end result. Added with a great girlie gossip session!! What better way to spend the afternoon, without island traffic? I never knew I could look so beautiful as with the make-up she applies extenuating all the natural features, the smokey eye is a favorite! All the products used are salon quality (European standards). It’s best to book in advance if you have a special party or event you want to be glammed up for, she's busier towards the end of the week! Another huge bonus is the personal hair & make-up shopping service available upon request; she will bring back many goodies suitable for your hair and skin type!! Enjoy being beautiful!!!

KINABUTI: Asta is genius, professional and hard working. She worked with us on the kinabuti photoshoot for the collection bycicle thieves. She styled African Hair in a glamourous and natural way. It was a HIT. Everybody asking: WHO DID THE HAIR? Keep it up girl - As a result I asked her to please fix my hair and she totally transformed me and make me feel pretty again. thank u Asta!!!

Kasia: Asta is really an amazing stylist!! I have had my hair and make up done a few times and each time I absolutely loved it! I also had highlights and hair cut and I was super happy as the quality of her services are very high! Do not hesitate to call her!!! She is an absolute treasure to have in Lagos!!! :)))

Maria Martinez: Finally someone who has a clue what they are doing with hair cutting, styling and make up. It is like having an extreme makeover. Very professional, knowledgable, punctual and absolutely refreshing to work with. Asta saves the day always!

Rhianna Said: My experience with Asta was wonderful. I have dark hair and like to go a bit lighter, but not BLONDE. She got the color absolutely perfect! She also gave me pointers on how to care for my fine, long, highlighted hair here in Nigeria. She is punctual, personable and knows what she's doing. Finally, someone you can trust your hair with here. My hair feels healthy again! Thank you Asta :)

Gizem Ceylan: Asta did a great job to my hair. I never trusted anyone in Nigeria until now so never had a hair cut or highlight. But she fascinated me with her creativity and mastery at what she is doing. She is taking it super seriously and never allows the customer leave without satisfaction. She spent a long time on my hair but I was honestly smiling with full satisfaction when I left. I have my nice shiny highlights and I don't have to travel for this any more.

Andria: Asta is FANTASTIC!!! Thanks for making my hair look gorgeous right here in Lagos ;-)
