LIL LIVE Christmas event held at Harbour Point in Victoria Island. Santa Clause was there to take a note of Christmas wishes and gave away a Ribena to all the kids who came to see him.Fantastic vendors from gifts and fashion to jewelry, toys and furniture were there to help with all Christmas requests. The Christmas spirit was continued with Christmas carols and a performance by Bez. Gift bags and raffle prizes kept the weekend buzzing. Dealdey sponsored the My Lagos videos. The event was sponsored by Samsung.
The Lost in Lagos Photo Competition was held over a few months, from May-September, when anyone and everyone was invited to send in their photos of Lagos. The top 10 were chosen by a panel of judges and were exhibited at the Palms Shopping Centre. They were also turned into postcards that help promote the best of Lagos. The postcards are sold at the Hub Media Store at the Palms. The winner was Akara Ogheneworo. The photo competition was sponsored by The Palms Shopping Centre and The Hub Media Store.
LIL LIVE was held at Federal Palace Hotel over the weekend of May 28th and 29th, 2011. Two days of shopping with over 50 vendors, a fashion show
featuring Remi Lagos and Delavi and a performance by Omolade made it a wonderful weekend. The crowd enjoyed the raffle prizes given away every hour, the gift bags and fabulous vendors.
The Artist's Experience was held throughout the month of March 2011 at the White Space in Ikoyi, where four feature artists exhibited their work alongside the pop-up cafe, Cafe D'Art. Each of the artists were on site for one week working on a new piece that they had to complete by the end of the week. The feature artists included Alex Nwokolo, Richardson Ovibiebo, Tayo Olayode and Victor Ehikhamenor. The event was sponsored by Diamond Bank.
The first Lost in Lagos LIVE was held at the Federal Palace Hotel on the 5th of December 2010. With over 50 vendors selling everything from fashion and jewelry to cakes and christmas gifts. A fashion show featuring designs from Kiki Kamanu, Remi Lagos, Farrah, Vonne Couture and Bling was held with the accompaniment of the Vincent Ezzelle Band.
